Koloa developer denies meeting

KOLOA — Despite talk of a meeting between The Shops at Koloa ownership and Koloa community members to discuss the trees next week, developer David Nelson said he has no definite plans to be on-island, let alone meet with anyone.

Monkeypod trees survive widely suspected removal date

KOLOA The trees are still there.

There was no indication yesterday that the monkeypod trees in Koloa town would be removed this in spite of a widely suspected Jan. 2 deadline that had been printed on posters and fliers for weeks.
